Funding Pattern | The SPV Programme provides Central Financial Assistance (CFA) through the implementing organizations for deployment of SPV systems covered under the Programme and related activities. CFA for general areas is 50% of the cost subject to a maximum prescribed limits for different types of systems. CFA for NE & Special areas is 90% of the cost subject to a maximum prescribed limits for different types of systems. |

Eligibility criteria | The scope of this scheme is confined to activities not covered under the RVE and UICA schemes of the Ministry. The implementation of the solar lantern programme is limited to the special category states. Details of eligibility criteria for different categories of systems is given in the administrative approval. |
